Vintage 1950s/60s stitched patchwork pink ceramic elephants salt & pepper shakers.
Item Details: Kitsch elephants measure 2.5” x 3”. One elephant has blue accents and is marked JAPAN on the inside front leg, the other elephant has yellow accents. Unmarked Napco elephants have their trunks up, so that means good luck.
Condition: Some age/storage wear, still display nicely.
Note: Elephants have some crazing but no cracks, I can feel a few little flea bites on the bottom of the feet where there was no glaze applied & there are some other areas that the glaze skipped (most notably on the yellow elephant’s back leg). Both elephants have their cork stoppers, but the blue one’s is inside the body.
These super cute shakers are perfect for retro kitchen decor, collecting, or use as a set prop.
