Vintage 1940s CRESCENT SPICE boxes — Whole Anise Seed & Whole Bay Leaves.
Item Details: WHOLE ANISE SEED box is labeled 2 OUNCES OR OVER & WHOLE BAY LEAVES box is labeled ¼ OUNCE OR OVER. Both boxes measure 3.25” tall, are heavy cardboard that is stapled on the bottom and are labeled: CRESCENT MANUFACTURING CO. SEATTLE WASH U.S.A. The back of the boxes has an address for recipes: MARIAN BELL Crescent Mfg. Co., Seattle 4, WN. Both boxes are full and appear to be unused.
Condition: Some age/storage wear but display fine.
Note: Both boxes have some discolorations/stains and scraping. Anise seed box is marked 16 on top & Bay Leaves box is marked 18 on top.
